I heard on the news one night a few months ago, about a kid that had diabetes. Instead of taking the child to a hospital, the family simply prayed for him. The child received no medical attention or medication and died. This song is about that. I can’t believe some people. It kind of makes me sick.

Lyrics :

come down to
my place of worship
all i ask
is on your knees

come down to
beg me just to
stay with
everlasting peace
of mind

ignore the angels
and all their re-
direct your faith
unto my damaged soul

[chorus x2]
Bow your head
And we will prey on you

Come down to
Give me all you can
I’m not in wanting
Anything you can spare will do

[chorus x2]
Bow your head
And we will prey on you

Lyrics :

I think it was three AM
Or maybe a quarter past
You lit my world on fire
Convinced me it would last

You told me your favorite flavor
Made me beg to taste
Filling my head with reasons
Not to look away

(chorus)
You led me to water and made me drink
You poisoned the well
I thought you wanted me
To love you
For all that you pretended to be

(background vocals)
Lead me
Decide for me

This is has been my pet project for quite some time. I’m just relieved to finally be done with it!
Also, this one has words so here they are :

The fairy tale’s gone, it was a fine one
Something’s wrong, I gotta find some
Place to put, a bookmark in this
Story’s gotten much too long

The shortest break I would ever
Take this time, took forever
You never thought, you could be so
Patient, Foolish, ohhhhhhh

You tried your best, to fold our lives from
All the little pages, that you cried on
I was too blind, to ever see them
Turn into something beautiful

Paper birds are now flapping
In my dreams that I’ve adapted
From the real world, where nothing
Ever flies without your touch

And so I close another chapter
Eloquence, and ever After
They always said, a happy ending’s
Not the end at all
